LET’S TALK – HOW TO CALL YOUR COFFEE MACHINE WITH TELEKOM TROPO

Ask your coffee machine to make a coffee by simply doing a call, select a candy from a vending machine using your phone and voice control… The current innovative tech market offers a wide range of tools and new applications that affect more and more our daily life. This opens whole new possibilities to interact with machines. As a consequence, new ways of interaction emerge with the purpose of increasing the communication capabilities and reducing the gap between man and machine. Developer Garden Evangelist Mireia Montanyola (blog.mmontanyola.com) presents in this workshop how to use Telekom Tropo, an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system, to interact with machines, and how to combine its capabilities in a synergy with other APIs to develop multiple applications.

You will learn more about hacks like this one for example.
