Mini Game Jam
Berlin Mini Jam is a monthly, ~8 hours long game creation jam that brings people together to try out game ideas and create prototypes.
Everybody is welcome. This is not just for programmers.
- • Meet new people interested in creating games.
- • Train brainstorming, and intensively working in teams.
- • Work on prototypes for digital games or board games or activity games.
The official language is English but teams can use other languages internally.
At the beginning of each session, a theme is decided. You have 4 hours to create a game prototype, solo or in a team, digital or non digital. At the end of each session, there will be a short round of presentations where you show your work and get feedback. No prior knowledge or skills required, only your creative energy.
Please bring your laptop, or any materials that you might need for non-digital games. Make game graphics, concepts and prototypes on computers, phones, cardboard or physical space. Anything you want!
Everyone is welcome! Really! Artists, game designers, coders, hobbyists or professionals, everyone! And we regularly have new people, so don’t worry if you don’t know anybody: You’re quite welcome too.
